Jurors
Lauren Davies, Director of Gallery Programs at Kala Art Institute, oversees and curates all exhibitions and residency projects. With an MFA from SFAI, Lauren is an active visual artist, with a history of residencies and exhibitions across the region including U.C. Davis, Gallery 16, and Patricia Sweetow Gallery.

Carrie Lederer, Curator of Exhibitions and Programs at Bedford Gallery, is a leader in the field, having curated exhibitions at the Bedford for the past 15 years. As a practicing visual artist, Carrie has exhibited her work nationally including shows at Mills College Art Museum, Braunstein/Quay Gallery, and The Lab, and is a past recipient of the prestigious Fleishhacker Foundation Eureka Award.

Eligibility:
Must live and work in California. Open to Artist Members of Berkeley Art Center (up to 5 images) and those that wish to join as an artist level member ($55/yr). Members must have current membership through October 1, 2010. Additionally, non-members may submit a fee per number of images ($25/2, $10 for each additional image up to 5). Submission of 5 images receives an artist-level membership at Berkeley Art Center. You will be prompted to pay once you have submitted your application.

Eligible Media:
This year's exhibition will be open to artists working in all media.

Size Requirements:
Hanging works are limited to 48 x 36 inches including frame and may not exceed 30 lbs. Sculptures are limited to 72 x 36 x 36 inches and must not exceed 50 lbs.

What to Submit:
The work will be juried through BayVAN's open call software. You will be stepped through the application process after agreeing to the terms and conditions below. Please have your artist statement and resume ready to upload. All artwork must have been created within the past 3 years. Artists can submit a maximum of five (5) images. All images should be saved in JPEG format with dimensions of 1900 by 1900 pixels at 72 dpi on a black matte. Jpg files must be saved as: Lastname_Entry# (for example: Smith_2.jpg). Application Deadline:
Entries must be uploaded no later than 5:00 pm. Saturday, July 10, 2010
